The Tsinghua University SEM Alumni Club partnered with the Chui Huay Lim Club, which has over 180 years of history and has been the main Teochew business association in Singapore since 1845, to warmly host the Tsinghua University Rixin College visiting study group in Singapore on August 24, 2023. This visit was an important stop in Rixin College's "Friendship, Culture, and Shared Dawn（“友莘，文新，共昕”）" study tour to Singapore and Brunei to research intangible cultural heritage, educational protection, and the development of Teochew people in Singapore.

The Chui Huay Lim Club coordinated and arranged the entire research work for the Tsinghua students in Singapore. Under the warm hospitality of the alumni club and Chui Huay Lim Club, the students engaged in in-depth exchanges with alumni, experiencing firsthand and learning about Singapore's local culture, educational environment, and the development of the Chinese community. Before leaving Singapore, the Tsinghua students also shared their preliminary research findings with Teochew leaders in Singapore at the Chui Huay Lim Club, receiving valuable feedback and guidance.
